I bought this off Ebay for about £3. I own over 30 lippies, both highend and drugstore, and I can safely say that this is among the top 5 in my collection! :D For reference, I am Asian, NC35-45 depending on the season, with olive undertones; I have dark eyes and black hair. Raisin glaze is the perfect shade for my colouring and although it looks very dark in the tube, on my lips (not very pigmented) it is a sutble wash of bronzey, plummy red that just wakes my whole face up. The tiny gold shimmer is also very flattering. Consistency is just right too - not too sticky or watery. Staying power is fine, nothing exceptional but when I wear a gloss I don't expect it to last more than a few hours. For some reason this colour also seems to go with most blushes and eyeshadows!! Perfect for when I'm on the go and just need something to stop me from looking dead :)))) An excellent product!

Raisin Glaze is a brown, coppery gloss that works well with serveral skin tones. I'm a brown-haired, blue-eyed, pale hispanic, and this is nice to use on evenings. It can be layered to achieve a darker shade, and the glitter isn't crazy-heavy like many other glosses.
The only complaint I have about this gloss is the horrible, gag inducing smell. As soon as you open up the tube, it is a strong, chemical scent (almost as bad as Revlon's Lipglides). Mabey I have a bad tube? I do want to buy more Lustrous lipglosses, but I don't use this one very often, so I probably won't repurchase. The packaging is sophisticated. It stays on very well, and gives your lips a sheer, sparkley coffee tint. Cute!

    I LOVE this lipgloss because:
    1) it feels super light and is not sticky
    2) is moisturizing
    3) gives beautiful color
    4) gives a sexy pout
    5) is compact; great packaging
If you haven't tried this yet, you have to get your hands on one of these. It's great all year long!

Love it! I originally purchased it to use for my Halloween costume so I can make my lips look gold but this didn't do it. The sparkling gold glitter in the tube is very fine, not big & chunky. Gives my lips a reddish tint with a bit of moisture, slightly sticky, and slightly sparkly. Would be great paired with a berry colored lipstick to give it that pretty gold shimmer. Definitely is not a little girl's lip gloss. It's sophisticated, but fun with shimmer all in one gloss. continued >>

Nice packaging - sleek, expensive looking.
Lovely color for darker skin tones (I'm NW 43-45).
A bit sheer but nothing too bad. It's good to layer over lipsticks.
A bit too sticky in my opinion and I can definitely feel a bit of grittiness (but I kinda like it lol).

Raisin Glaze is a pretty good bronze-nude-gold color, which would be more fitting for a tan, olive, and/or dark-complected woman as these complexions would hold the color better. I like it actually and plan to use it in my Spring/Summer lippie collection. It doesn't feel drying. You can feel the glitter/shimmer; but, it isn't bad, really. 4 out 5 lippies.

This comes in a cute square tube with a wand applicator, and it does not feel sticky. This is a medium copper color with a gold shimmer to it. I loved the color in the tube, but it goes on very sheer with a hint of color. I will continue to wear this alone when I only want a light pigment, but I will mostly wear this over other lipsticks to liven them up. The only reason I will not repurchase is because of the sheerness of the color.

I hardly throw out any product, however after several attempts to get this work for me, I decided to get rid of this elegantly packaged lip gloss. The color turns orangey brown which doesnt look good. This is so sticky that i cant forget for a moment that its on my lipsand cant wait long to wipe it away..totally disgusting

I picked this up on sale for $4.99CDN and gosh was this worth it! It goes on a beautiful plum/brownish with gorgeous sparkles. It's fairly pigmented, and the sparkles make your lips look like a million bucks! I would wear this for more fancier events, it's a bit too sparkly for everyday wear. This however does remind me of MAC's dazzleglass! I doubt I would ever run out just 'cause I don't wear that much lip gloss but if I were to I'd certainly run out and buy this again.

I'm very fair (neutral coloring) with reddish brown hair, and this lip gloss is my favorite color by far. It's the perfect color for me! The flecks of gold add a little interest, without being overwhelming. Also, this lipgloss isn't goopy or sticky, so it goes well over lipstick or on its own.

I am hispanic with black hair, browns eyes and medium skintone.
This ligloss is called Raisin Glaze. It is really a copper color with some goldish flecks in it. I really thought this would be more highly pigmented but it turned out to be very sheer. I rarely use it by itself. Usually I wear this gloss over my Avon Sienna lipstick. As far as the application goes, it applies evenly and it is not sticky. Also, I am not fond of the scent although it does fade. I don't think that I would buy this shade again.

Unfortunately, this product did not work for me. First, the gloss did not glide on smoothly and felt gritty. Since the color was so pretty, this would have been acceptable, however...I came down with an allergic reaction to it. Within half an hour of putting this gloss on, I developed a fine, bumpy rash across my lips.Ughhhh! Needless to say, this product is going right back to the store.

A perfect YLBB shade for my NC 42-43 asian skin.
Got this shade after reading the reviews, I was not so sure about the color as it shows in the package. Could never have chosen this shade if it were not for the reviews. It is a wonderful shade, perfect for my pigmented lips. I find myself going for this shade more often than any other shade. It shows beautifully on my tanned skin. A must for medium-dark complexion gals. Already got the second tube :-)
The color is a gorgeous warm pinkish-brown on the soft side. In the tube, it looks glittery but it comes of as a beautiful shimmer and not at all gritty (I hate glitters). Without the golden sheen, it might seem a raisin color... but I am glad it is the way it is.

Everytime I have stopped at Walgreens, I have picked this up and put it back down. The color just looked so weird in the store. Finally I bought it during the CVS bogo sale. I LOVE this lipgloss. Like the applicator, and the color is not nearly as bright as it looks in the tube. A little shimmer, but not glitter, and thank god, no frost. A great color that you can build up for evening as well. This might actually be a competition for my Victoria Secret "Wet" lipgloss for my everyday color.
Edit: I don't use this as much as I originally thought I would. It does this weird gloopy thing on my lips, like the color doesn't distribute all that well. Still, it's a nice color that I'll get out occasionally.

I never buy colored glosses because I always get scared that they might look ashy on me but this one is nice. It's a sheer, coppery, autumn gloss that goes on light. Nothing to write home about or hg status though.

I love the SL lipglosses and Raisin Glaze is one of my favorites. Its a pinkish brown with gold sparkle. It looks natural (with lots of shine) on my light skin. Perfect for day or night.

The smell of this gloss was a deal breaker for me. I am not sensitive to fragrances normally and if a product is truly special I can close my eyes on the way it smells easily. But there are so many wonderful lipglosses out there that I don't see the point of putting up with this disgusting tacky smell every time I want to apply the gloss. Raisin glaze is a pretty plummy color on my lips. Alas, I had to give it away after a few uses because the smell was just disgusting. Even Dior glosses that smell vaguely plasticky don't have that kind of strong odor. Would not repurchase anything from this range unless they changed the fragrance.

I was attracted to this shade because it reminded me of MAC "O". Well, "O" it isn't, but it is a lovely gloss. Form and function is good--it's not too sticky, but it stays on, the color is pretty, the packaging is nice, esp. for a d/s brand. I wish it was more pigmented--it doesn't show up much on my pigmented lips (I'm NC20 Snow White coloring) but I decided to keep it to wear over my favorite MAC red/brown lippies, like Fresh Moroccan and Spice It Up. Alone, it is kind of "meh" on me, although I think if I played around with liners it might be okay.
I rated it a "2" for price because I got it at CVS for BOGO, and I had 2 Revlon $1 coupons and a $3 coupon for CVS--put it all together and I paid exactly 2.99 for 2 glosses! Can't beat that--I will repurchase this and want to try other colors.

Eh. I had high hopes for this gloss given the favorable reviews & the fact that's it's arguably the deepest shade of these glosses (I'm an Asian GGG & was looking for something I could wear alone or over lipstick). But on, this is a really sheer copper, nothing raisin-y about it at all. I'd keep it for just use over lip color but it has this perfumey/waxy/make-up-y fragrance/taste that I cannot bear. Ick! continued >>
